Through initiatives like the JB Dewar Tractor Restoration Education Program, we are honored to contribute to meaningful progress. Tractor Restoration Education Program
Fueling the passion and skills of future generations, the JB Dewar Tractor Restoration Education Program equips students with real-world experience in teamwork, project management, budgeting, planning, and marketing. Every summer, participants bring their hard work to life at the California Mid-State Fair, where they proudly display their restored tractors and compete for scholarships. Since 2002, the program—supported by JB Dewar, Chevron Delo®, the Alex Madonna family, and other local businesses—has awarded over $150,000 in scholarships, demonstrating the value of dedication and craftsmanship. Cal Poly Tractor Pull & Rodeo
Every year, the Cal Poly Open House comes alive with the excitement of the Tractor Pull, the largest event of the weekend. Drawing nearly 4,000 spectators and over 50 competitors, this high-energy showcase celebrates the determination and skill of participants. JB Dewar is proud to sponsor this iconic event, supporting the hardworking students of the College of Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Sciences with generous scholarships that recognize their efforts.
For more than 60 years, the Cal Poly Rodeo has been a cornerstone of our community, producing Rodeo World Champions, Collegiate Champions, and Rodeo Hall of Fame inductees. JB Dewar is honored to stand behind this tradition, helping young athletes pursue their passions and achieve greatness through this legendary program.
Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo County 4-H & FFA
JB Dewar is proud to champion the future of agriculture by sponsoring today’s 4-H and FFA youth at the Santa Barbara County Fair and the California Mid-State Fair at the Paso Robles Event Center. Through our support of these programs, we help cultivate the skills, dedication, and leadership qualities that these young participants bring to their livestock and agricultural projects. These fairs provide an incredible platform for students to showcase their hard work, compete for scholarships, and gain valuable experience that will guide them in their future endeavors. JB Dewar remains committed to fostering the next generation of agricultural leaders and celebrating the achievements of 4-H and FFA members in our community.
